Bottleneck, Interactive City Evacuation Simulator
Team Bottleneck
A static evacuation map shows possible routes but not whether they can handle the traffic. Bottleneck runs a real road network through a mesoscopic traffic simulation to show how fast a city can clear out, where queues form, and how closures, extra lanes or contraflow change the outcome. Four real cities ship built in, with validation targets set in advance so misses stay visible.

Platephoto
Team Platephoto
Platephoto turns a meal photo into an editable food diary entry. Snap or upload a picture and it estimates the foods, portion size, calories, protein, carbs and fat, then hands you a review screen to correct anything before it is saved. Recognition is treated as an assistant, not an unquestionable source of truth.
✱ 3rd Place Winner ✱
Review Pulse
Team Review Pulse
A 3.9 average tells you nothing about what to fix this week. Review Pulse takes a pile of dated reviews and turns them into recurring themes, evidence and trends, so an owner can tell one angry comment apart from an actual pattern. Original quotes stay attached and are never invented, and the report lives in the browser with no account needed.
Say It Simply
Team Say It Simply
Hard text in, clear text out. Paste a paragraph, pick a reading level, and get it rewritten without changing the meaning. Simplify mode strips out unnecessary complexity, humanize mode makes stiff or robotic wording sound natural, and the editor highlights every change as you go. No account needed, drafts stay in the browser.
What Changed
Team What Changed
What Changed turns messy page diffs into signal. Point it at any public URL, set a check interval, and it saves a clean snapshot, compares it to the next version, and surfaces the changes people actually care about: a new price, a removed condition, an updated deadline. Snapshots are stripped of scripts for safety and watch history is kept locally in the browser.
LocalMind
Team LocalMind
Workshops, basements and remote sites rarely have reliable connectivity, but inspections still need to happen. LocalMind is an offline-first Android field notebook: a technician records a finding, attaches a photo, sets severity and status, and searches the archive, all without an account or a network connection. Everything writes straight to SQLite and on-device storage.
